The library’s materials cover mainly contemporary dance and ballet, but other subject areas include:

Resources kept in the library include:

  • CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs

Electronic Resources

The library subscribes to a growing collection of e-resources such as dance e-journals. LCDS staff and students can access these resources off-campus via Athens.

Library catalogue

The catalogue can be searched within the library. LCDS staff and students can also search the catalogue off-campus via Moodle.

Computing facilities

  • 13 computers with internet access and printing
  • three dedicated computers with specialist software for dyslexic students
  • scanner
  • wifi

Photocopying and printing

There are charges for photocopying and printing. Print cards can be purchased from the library desk.

Audiovisuals

DVDs and videos can be viewed within the library. Pre-booking of the viewing area is advisable. DVDs can also be played on all the computers.
